At AGRAWAN HERITAGE UNIVERSITY, we are committed to fostering a campus environment that is fair, transparent, respectful and inclusive. The Ombudsperson’s Desk serves as an independent, impartial and confidential resource for all members of our university community — students, faculty, staff and other stakeholders — who may have concerns about processes, decisions, behaviour or policy. .


Our Purpose

  • To offer a safe, neutral space where concerns or grievances can be raised without fear.
  • To promote procedural fairness, ensuring that university processes involving academic, administrative or personal issues are conducted equitably.
  • To act as a bridge between individuals and university systems, helping guide, advise and, when necessary, facilitate resolution.
  • To identify and recommend systemic improvements to policies, protocols and culture, so that our institution continuously evolves in its fairness and responsiveness.

Scope of Services
  • Listen to and review concerns relating to academic, administrative, behavioural or policy-related matters.
  • Provide guidance to complainants and respondents about rights, responsibilities and available avenues within the university and, where applicable, external mechanisms.
  • Offer informal mediation or referral to formal procedures where appropriate.
  • Maintain confidentiality and impartiality, operating independently of other administrative functions.
  • Monitor trends in grievances and propose enhancements to university systems and culture.
